North West Kent Dog Training Club

This class follows on and builds on the exercises learnt in the Puppy Foundation Course, dogs older than a year can also join this course. The runs for 6 weeks and includes:

• Control of your dog at a gate or door- very important for safety and good manners.
• Walking on the lead amongst other dogs.
• Coming away from other dogs on command.
• Recall & instant response when required to return to the handler
• Preparing dog for vet examination.
• Grooming.
• Stay exercises.

On the final night of the Bronze Good Citizen Course class members take a test for the Bronze Award, this is usually conducted by a visiting, qualified, examiner. If successful, you will be awarded the Kennel Club Good Citizen Bronze Award and maybe your first rosette together!
