North West Kent Dog Training Club was founded in 1975.  We have been successful in training dogs from puppy stage through to dogs competing in the obedience championships at Crufts.

The purpose of the club is to promote a better understanding between yourself and your dog.  Through training, a greater bond of love and respect is formed and the dog will become a welcomed and well behaved member of society and a Good Citizen, which, as we know, is vital in this day and age.

The club is based in a very spacious hall at Christ Church Hall, Glebe Road, Erith DA8 3DH and is in easy reach from Barnehurst, Crayford, Bexley, Sidcup, Dartford and Swanley.

ALL BREEDS ARE WELCOME

FAMILIES ARE WELCOME

The club is busy with pet dog training classes and competition training classes.  We have progress evenings and inter-club matches.

Since the Kennel Club introduced the Good Citizen Dog Scheme more than 2000 people have trained their dog and passed their Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards.

In competitions the club has been extremely successful with many dogs progressing through the classes and winning rosettes and trophies week after week in the show season.

In 2009 the club was granted Championship status - we now hold two obedience shows in July each year, usually the last weekend, a Championship show on the Saturday and an Open show on the Sunday.  We also hold a Limited Obedience show in February of each year.
